Together with <a href="reflect-serialize"><code>Reflect.serialize</code></a>/<a href="reflect-apply"><code>Reflect.apply</code></a> this is a one-call, bit-exact save/load for entities, and a diffable on-disk format for tooling. Determinism holds: the same tree always encodes to the same bytes.</p>
